The city of Saint-Paul and La Réunion des Livres are organizing the 4th edition of the Péi Book Fair at the Saint-Paul covered market from May 16 to 18, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This 4th edition of the Péi Book Fair remains focused on the authors and publishing houses of Reunion Island. It adds a stand of the “Autrement” bookstore which welcomes Péi authors published in France.
The fair opens the calendar of book fairs and festivals in the Indian Ocean in a territorial balance: Péi Book Fair in the west in May 2024 and Indian Ocean Children's Book Fair in the north in October 2024.
This show with more than 60 publishers, distributors and associations on 30 stands which present numerous péi books in French and Creole. The public is expected to measure the diversity and quality of the works published in Reunion and discover them around an exhibition: Heading West! draw the city #2 .
The program offers activities, conferences, professional meetings and workshops for children and adults with or without registration with the Leconte Media Library in Lisle (Saint-Paul) or Aurélie Cottin for the general public: drawing, manga, Comics, writing and games. The Green Room hosts a literary café and the Longani Room a marmay space to discover péi books.
